Revive!!! is coming to Trenton!!!! April 21st, 10AM - 5PM Shiloh Baptist Church, Reverend Darrell Armstrong - Host Pastor
The Central New Jersey Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, is proud to support and participate in "Revivejustice 2012". Several members of CNJC were a part of Revivejustice 2010. The worship experience, joyful singing and conversations about how to deal with our brothers and sisters who are confronted with immigration and incarceration issuses are at the forefront of conversations. These are moral issues that should and must be dealt with through the body of Christ. An injustice anywhere is an injustice everywhere. As we've said before, Christ came that we might have life, and have it more abundantly. We should be mindful of the injustices that we face in our communities and throughout the United States. What about us as Christians concerning critical justice issues and What about Jesus and Justice? How do we stand up as Christians in a world that sometimes seems to be so injust. Revive Justice will deal with these questions, and more. Do you have family members or friends who are dealing with issues of incarceration or immigration? Then meet us on Saturday, April 21st, at 10 AM, at the Shiloh Baptist Chruch. Let's pray about it, hear God's word about it, sing about it, talk about it and then take action. You will be blessed as I was in the 2010 Revive Justice worship experience.
The original Revive! brought together over 350 Christians in 2010 to talk about Jesus and Justice. Join us again on April 21st for a day of proclamation, worship and conversation.
Proclamation: Five of our most gifted local preachers - Pastor, Darrell Armstrong, Melinda Contreras-Byrd, Paul Jeannes, David Rojas and Pastor Simeon Spencer will inspire us and call us to action.
Joyful Praise: Revive! will feature an instant gospel choir, led by CNJC member Reverend William N. Heard and Deborah Ford; The Trenton Children's Chorus; praise dancers; and spirted worship that will enable us to praise God with heart, mind, body and soul.
A Moral Conversation: How do we respond as Christians to the critical justice issues involving imigration and incarceration in our own congregations, in our own neighborhoods?
Come and join us as we are lead by the power of the Holy Spirit and as we come together as the Body of Christ to educate and uplift each other as we continue our faith journey for Justice. For more information, visit www.Revivejustice.org .

The Central New Jersey Chapter congratulates our friend and brother Tracey D. Syphax on the release of his new book "FROM THE BLOCK to the BOARDROOM"
The Central New Jersey Chapter congratulates our brother Tracey Syphax on the release of his new book "FROM THE BLOCK to the BOARDROOM" - The Tracey D. Syphax Story! Tracey is a member of the Union Baptist Church, where he serves as Chairman of the Trustee Ministry. Truely a man after Gods' own heart and one who loves the Lord, the CNJC appreciates his dedication and comittment to kingdom building in our community and service in Gods' house. Tracey is also a businessman who recently made history by being the first Afrian American in the 51 year history of the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce to be awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year Award for 2011.
Tracey knew his life's story was a life changer. It's an incredible depiction of obstacles and triumphs, so naturally he wanted to share how he stood in the face of adversity and returned victorious. He sat down with Author Detric "Qadiriyyah" Goss of Atlanta (Trenton native) early in 2011 to tell his story. Together they generated the words which tell the story of FROM THE BLOCK TO THE BOARDROOM - THE TRACEY D. SYPHAX STORY. The book not only tells Tracey's life's story, but it also provides a step-by-step course of action he calls the "BLUEPRINT".
The book is relevant today because it's a vehicle for change. It showcases that regardless of your past decisions, redemption is always possible. With the release of "FROM THE BLOCK TO THE BOARDROOM - THE TRACEY D. SYPHAX STORY, the reader has a clear window into the life of a man who came from humble beginnings, experienced life altering circumstances, made and learned from his mistakes to go on and build two multi-million dollar businesses. "Everyone has a hood story, what we all desire is a good story," says Author Detric "Qadiriyyah" Goss. She goes on to say how proud she is to have penned such an amazing tale on such an incredible individual.
The book is available on the From the Block to the Boardroom website and will be in local bookstores across the U.S. in both hardback and paperback formats. It's also available for the Kindle on Amazon.com.
Tracey will hold his first book signing at the Trenton Marriott located at 1 West Lafayette Street, Trenton, NJ 08608 on February 24th and 25th. The hours are 5pm-10pm on the 24th and 1pm-6pm on the 25th.
A child of God, entrepreneur, community activist, motivational speaker and now author. May God continue to bless you and your family Tracey as you continue to serve Him.
